Celebrating Volunteer Knights!

As Volunteer Week unfolds, it's an opportune moment to extend our sincerest gratitude to those Brother Knights who embody the spirit of Service and Charity by the giving of their time and efforts.

For over a century, the Knights of Columbus have exemplified the true essence of volunteerism. Founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, this organization has continuously embodied the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. From its humble beginnings in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights have grown into a global force for good, with millions of members worldwide dedicated to serving their neighbors in need. In the heart of Milton, the volunteer members of the Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus continue to follow these principles, working hard to make a difference in our local community.

Throughout the year, these volunteers have been steadfast in their dedication to serving others. From organizing fundraisers for local charities to assisting families in need, their impact reverberates far and wide. Last year alone our members contributed over 3,500 volunteer hours in various programs and events. Their selfless acts of kindness are a testament to the power of volunteerism and the difference it can make in our community and the lives of those around us.

In the spirit of Volunteer Week, let us thank those who take the time and effort from their busy lives to serve others and their dedication to making a positive difference in our community. May their commitment continue to inspire us all to lend a helping hand and spread kindness wherever we go. Thank you to all the Brother Knights for your invaluable contributions to our community.
